markdog 18
ive recently started using my dads aya no2 it was 2nd hand when he bought it about 35yrs ago, its a lovely balanced gun a real joy to shoot with but it could do with tidying up the barrels are losing there blue. So was thinking of getting the whole gun re blued barrels ,action etc anybody used the cold blue or is it best to let a gunsmith hot blue it if so any idea how much you talking? Quote Link to post
SportingShooter 0
If it was something cosmetic to a gun I really enjoyed shooting then I would always let a gunsmith do the job for me. Pricing depends entirely on who you go to, it could be Nigel Teague who is expensive but you get what you pay for, or a fairly local small gunsmith who will do equally as much for less, just have to ring around and get some quotes I'm afraid.
