Mr_Logic 5
Right then... I have a Titan6 in 243, it's in for repairs. When it works, it is a terrific gun. Problems may or may not stem from the base screws coming loose, but they have an aluminium receiver as the bolt locks into the base of the barrel, not the receiver as normal. They are cheaply made but pretty accurate. Plastic trigger, badly painted silver (in that with a bit of wear the paint comes off), alu receiver as I said. But, they come with scope bases and mostly cut (albeit quite badly, pretty rough and ready finish). But, like I said, when it works, it works remarkably well. I'm looking forward to getting mine back, fixed and ready to go once more. However, I'd not recommend them. I would recommend a CZ, but quite amazingly they ain't cheap now. I have a CZ 527 American plastic stock, in 223 Rem. Shoots amazingly well, well made and very accurate. The difference for me with CZ is they don't cut the corners of Tikka, Titan and so on. The receiver is properly machined steel, the barrel looks solid. Bluing is done properly, with a polished finish. Triggers are also metal, trigger guards are solid steel also. It's "properly" made. And it shoots well, and mine was cheap. The balance is good, there really is nothing going against them. But, I also have a Remington, and that's a good gun too. I'd get either over RWS now tbh.
