Iv got the Blitz and it is a tool and a half. Great lamp, But make sure you change the wiring on which one you get because it will save you a lot f time

how long could you run them off a 12v20amp battery

i would go for the stricker,its good enough for all your lamping needs i would get the variable power.

Best bet mate is to get the blitz 240 variable power, it gives alot more range and to top it, it uses the same size bulb as the 170 so if you only use it on full power when you need to, then you should get 4 to 5 hours use if you use a good 17 amp battery.

i use the striker cant wrong it for rabbits and foxs..that be my advice everyone is different

Wouldn't the Blitz be a bit big to carry around? Not so much the weight just the physical size?
