Guest whitser
dug our second fox of the season last monday. we'd had a fairly blank day. hounds found a fox early that morning but lost him as quick, sometimes they just vanish into thin air. myself and my mate covered a lot of ground but saw fcuk all. and they way home we walked along a ditch and spotted a decent looking hole the terrier gave it a quick sniff then moved on, a feet up the ditch he disapperead down a hole. we could feel some action going on below and soon that wonderfull smell of fox was filling the air around the earth. we had no collar or box with us as a fcuk up ment we had no batteries wth us and the ones in the bellman were wasted. took us a little while to find the dog along the bank, my hound "special"marked a blow hole in the bank and started digging and she led us exactly to the fox. we opened up the hole and soon had the fox out. the vixen was given a quick death before the dogs had there well deserved rag. second fox of season and the first of the season to my terrier. things are going well thanks be to allah Quote Link to post
