Guest Gamekeepa Posted March 11, 2006 Report Share Posted March 11, 2006 ive always wanted to work lurchers im only seventeen but ive been shootin all my life and just recently i have been given a job as a gamekeeper ive got 500acers of a 4000acere estate so ive now got space to keep some dogs and a place to work them. the thing is i dont alot about lurchers the first question is what sort of dog should i be looking for? i would mainly be hunting rabbits & foxes Quote Link to post

With that said, it would be useful to know what the ground is like and whether you envisage using the dog mostly at night, in the day or both? Quote Link to post
