I understood that if you but blue eye to blue eye, you could get genetic related problems??

 

 

they dont have bleu eyes lol but my mates telling me they are blue merls

 

 

not sayin they have mate...............only that Ive heard blue eyed merles to blue eyed merles casue problems....thats all i know bud - sorry

if she didnt have a merle would say she isnt a carrier of the gene :clapper:

 

Merle is not 'carried', it's a dominant gene, it is always expressed. That's why you will statistically get half merle pups when breeding a merle to a normal dog. You can have cryptic merles where the coloring of the dog hides the merle pattern. Is the bitch in question the brindle in the original post? That's not a merle, it's a blue brindle.

yeah mate its the brindle 1 in the original post. so shes a blue brindle. i have been told loads of stuff. sum 1 even said the black and whit boy is a black merl? lol am confused :wallbash:. do u think its would be ok 2 put the black and white dog 2 the brindle bitch? as i dont want any defoemed pups and have 2 get them put down :thumbdown: thanks dan
