Tiff 36
If you have a dog (terrier, lurcher, gundog, whatever) that has been successful at it's given task, but then has gone and done some things that you just weren't sure about, how much time do you give for the dog to re-prove itself? Or do you never trust the dog again? I've seen dogs fail (for some reason or other, known and unknown) for the first time and get done, and I've seen others have excuse after excuse made for them (good blood so can't off it, worked sore or injured, just coming into season, just getting out of season, bitch in season at home etc) So what is the difference between genuinely giving a dog another chance versus making an excuse for a dog? dogman89 0
someone once told me that if his dog does something once, he'l give it another chance, but if it did it again then it would go. personally if i get a dog i think id have it for life. not unless something seriously wrong was wrong with it Quote Link to post
