A stark reminder

of just how powerful the weather can be at times. Now last night was a pretty rough night here, not storm force but wet and very windy. We've the two dogs loose in our yard 24/7 with their "house" to go in if they want to but I'd say that while one does this the other is out.

It was dark when I was out with the crew first thing and was back and feeding them at about 07.30 - 08.00 hrs. I do the same thing every single day of the year and clean up the yard etc etc. This morning when I was doing this, I came across a fairly big piece of sheet glass from a broken pane, all glass checked here straight away and all intact, just by looking at this piece I thought it hadn't come from here, so that brings me to just the one conclusion...................the wind .

The nearest building to us is at least 100M away and across a main road, now any building with the type glass I found is even further , so just think about being the way of that thing flying through the air in the dead of night , thankfully the dogs are fine but I couldn't help thinking if we'd been off out lamping, it would have come across the path we take................feck that

Yeh, Ive been out in some fairly rough weather over the years, particularly on the Irish Sea, but that brought it straight to our doorstep last night
