Well BASC is more, shall we say, specific than the CA in that it is a Shooting organisation.

The CA has no excuse. Thats what they are there for and what you pay their money for.

The BASC has been severely lowered in my book since it did not fight for the Humber Wildfowlers last year and certain additions to their council.

Basc sorted me with the right advice at good speed, which made the subscription worth every penny!

I can't comment on lurchers and terriers, and as they are the British Association for SHOOTING and CONSERVATION, I doubt they can either.

Yeh and what do they do for us Lurcher terrier and ferret lads ?

Both BASC and CA are a waste of time,, just in it forthemselves.

well maybe you should join and then they would be in it for you as well!

ok so i admitt they could do better but now im a member at least ive got legal advice and insurance should i need it!

it not just about shooting or just about fishing or hunting with dogs its a constant ongoing fight for field sports and our way of life as a whole, just being another number on the books counts for some thing!

its the same as not voting! if you dont vote you dont have a say and if you dont join you cant give input that could lead to change!

I'm a member and have used their advice once which was very good and they were quick with it too but I only joined really for the insurance and hopefully I'll never have to use that.
