comanche 3,320
Apologies if this is old news but it's scary. Just looking for info on some traps and turned up a site called National AntI Snaring Campaign. According to these people Gin traps are causing carnage to wildlife and pets. Not only that Kania 2000 traps are approved by DEFRA for use against woodpeckers! The site also tells it's visitors how to find and recognise traps and is compiling a data base of sporting estates. It also urges people to investigate private woods. I'm sure the "usual suspects " for my area(They give a Sussex PO BOx) are involved. What worries me apart from the general information truth defficet is that it is quite possible that a customer of a genuine pest controller could decide to get a bit more info on the methods available (as they often do) and come upon this site or similar. Just type in "Approved Spring Traps".B*ggers! Quote Link to post
