first dig off season

its started got out yesterday for first time had the old red dog and russell type bitch and 2 young red ones first time out and the lurcher first bit of cover we tried nothing at home second bit terriers flushed fox it turned back in to cover and ran straight into terriers when i got there young ones were both griped on moved on to check some holes at another farm checked one hedgerow no luck moved onto long bank with lots of cover let the 2 old terriers loss to work this put 2 fox out both turned back lost russell bicth but no problem had b+f on found her in a small earth only 2 foot deep not a bad dig just some roots broke though she had already killed it moved on to next set of holes tried the old red dog was on staight away let him settle got a mark about 4 foot bit harder this time took about 2 hours broke though he was right up to the stuff 2 in a dead end let the pups have a look both very keen fingers crossed let them out for another day back filled and home by 2 oclock for a pint no photos dont take camera out hunting will stick some up of dogs and pups when i get a chance
