Cheers. i have taken pike on the fly upto about 10lb gonny have a go for the carp but may have to wait till next summer the way this weather is going Quote Link to post

Cheers. I have caught chub, roach and dace on the fly, not the norm for fly fishing mainly on the dry fly, and they put up a nice little scrap aswell on a light outfit. Never tried for carp or barbel though but would guess you might need a slightly heavier weight rod!! They can't half take some line, but still no match for trout and salmon! BFTB Quote Link to post
