boresighter question

Anybody use a boresighter ? I normally use a bit of paper with a cross on it but im thinking of getting one . As far as i can make out, once the grid is zeroed , you just zero your scope to that and Bobs your uncle ! sounds too good to be true ,, so if anybody uses one can you elaborate a bit please only the more i look it up on the web the more split decisions im reading , half are saying loads of hassle and a real pain and the other half say its the best thing since sliced bread , pop it in zero to grid , andyour done . cheers Buster

If the truth be told, i have never actually used one and so can't help you on that one bud?

 

But I'm sure someone who has experience of them will be along soon.

Im a bugger for a gadget , but i really cant see how it can be easier than the old fashion way

I personally would'nt buy one for a sub 12ft/lb rifle ( but thats just my opinion ) you are better off sorting it just as buster say's "the old fashioned way"
