lurchergrrl 1,441
I did nothing at all with the dogs yesterday, as the pup was exhausted from our little lamping adventure on Friday night. So to make up for it I took them on a good long mooch today (with my sprogs, which is a nightmare and takes ages, but needs must). And apparently the pup has decided that swimming is fun and paddling is for amatuers. Today she displayed a real aptitiude for retreiving from the water. It surprised me a bit - she kept going back for more until I finally got bored of tossing things in for her. Just checking things out Get it!! And she does what she's told. I think she's ace It's so nice to sit back against a tree and just enjoy the view Anybody else got a lurcher who is over fond of the water? Any pics to share?

Thats a fine looking lurcher you got, she'll be a handy tool with a good season under her belt!!!!!!!!!! Cheers LDR, I think she's the biz I didn't post anything about it ... was a very short trip out thanks to Snoop's defective lamp She only had two runs. First ever run was a success second it got away into the cover. Then the lamp went kaput. I'll be getting her out again in about two weeks. She's well keen. A bit more practice and I reckon I'll have some fun with her this season. oooooooo!!!!! She's lubley!!! Do I take it, I'm not the only one struggling round the fields and woods with pushchairs and bottles then?!! Foxy, I used to push my double tandem pram round the fields with my then 2yr old son in tow And it was worth all the slogging and hassle just to stop and watch the dogs lark around. People used to look at me like I was mad tho
