karlp86 0
i arrived back in england at half 5 this morning after spending the last 10days in St Lucia. I had a quite horrific flight caused by a 3yr old girl screaming for 8hrs in the seat behind me, so at the point of writing this i haven't slept for the last 30hrs. as i was in quite a horrible mood i thought i'd cheer myself up with a little hunting trip, so i grabbed my 12g and my decoys and went after some pigeons. After a few hours i decided to stop with 3 woodies in the bag and one crow. my shooting has seemed to have improved no end since my last decoying trip not long ago. nearly everything i pointed at i hit. after that i decided to break out the .22 rimmy and go after a large buck rabbit that had been sitting at the end of one of my fields for most of the day. i crept to i reasonable distance from him, i had no cover at all so didn't want to get to close and spook him. i lasered him at 83yrds, set up the bi-pod, waited and just watched his movements for a while. then squeezed the trigger...twack, he went straight down like a sack of....potatoes quite a big bunny really. atb, Karl Quote Link to post
