andy s410c 63
Arrived at the top quarry 11pm,car showing 17c & no wind so it was going to be a warm one.Got meself sorted & proceeded to the paddock fields at the side of the quarry,in the large field i managed to miss 3 my range estimation was all over the place ,to make it worse the geese were on patrol at the gate to next field so i had to scramble over the barbed wire fence.Did,nt fancy that lot kicking off, already had a taste of that . Got into the next field & managed to bag 3 ,finally got my act together .I then headed into the top field over looking the quarry wall but i must have spooked the rabbitts that were in the field soon as the lamp went on them they were away I cut my losses & went over to the bottom quarry & bagged 2 from the top field ajacent to the farmhouse by this time i was tired been up since 5:30am.Got back to the car 1:30am,lathered in sweat thinking that was a lot of effort for 5 rabbitts but worth it I can't upload the pics as there too many K,s  but you lads know i ain't no keyboard hunter Quote Link to post
