Dan_Jones 7
Right heres the story .. my s410 carbine was shooting very well when i first came .. now the first time ive tryed to pump it up tonyt , put the adapter on started pumping and only took around about 20 pumps to get it from around 150 to 200 .. anyway i was asked by a few lads tonight if i fancyed a drive out with the guns.I dove at the chance and went for a mooch in the jeep but on they way they told me they cudnt get within 50 yards of the bunnys soo i though ARR ! turn that screw that i was told will increase the power up to 19lb /ft. ive turned it in and it seems if anything less then it was and screwed it out and seems less again .. does anyone know what i could have done ? maybe during pumping or the screw ... Have i fudged it ??? Thanks lads .. Dan Quote Link to post

Dan best thing to do bud is put it though a cronograph bud then u can see wats it doing u might think its not kickin much ft/lbs out [bANNED TEXT] it might u got to remember them airarms are recoiless so u wont get a kick [bANNED TEXT] u cramp it up to full power like anyother fac spring air rifles if its still not doing any better i would take it to your local gun smith let him have a look all the best silenthunter........ stubby 175
you do realise that turning it up, puts you on a charge, if you dont hold an FAC, and even if you do, unless the s410 is on it, your still commiting a crime Quote Link to post
Guest rexdigger
just because you turned the screw right out doesnt mean you get full power it can turn the power down if you screw it out too much it is very fine adjustment so iv been told anyway Quote Link to post

Guest bigredbusa
i thought the newer ones where anti tamper Quote Link to post
Biffo1262 0
i thought the newer ones where anti tamper The last pre anit-tampers were about August 2007 same as mine. The funny thing about the S4*0 models is that unless you have the FAC rated model, going too high actually messes the accuracy right up. The best accuracy seems to be in the 10.5 to 11.3 ft/lbs region but it varies from gun to gun. Mines happy at 11.3 ft/lbs but go above that and it's a real cock-up. Even if it is the pre anti-tamper my information is that it won't go much above 13ft/lbs anyway. Edited August 28, 2008 by Biffo1262 Quote Link to post
