I have a Tikka M595 in .17 rem - never knew it as a magnum. Mine has fired many hundreds of shots - the secret of barrel life is in the cleaning whether I fire one or ten shots. This little gun regularly drops foxes well out past 200 yards. I will admit it was a b****r to find the right load for it Peter What about factory loads Dicehorn?
