well another hancock question not about ability how he breeds

if he is using greyhound bitches

what stud dogs will he be using for 5/8 grey 3/8 beardie

3/4 grey 1/4 collie

i think i can work out a first cross

but when percentage is in play iam struggling in the stud dogs cheers

oh and i can no longer access his web site has it been closed

To produce the 5/8 3/8 he uses a 3/4 collie 1/4 greyhound stud over a greyhound bitch, it is thought that by mating this way you get a more even litter than when you mate 2 collie lurchers (1/2 and 3/4 together)

 

To get the 3/4 he mates a 1/2 collie/grey with a greyhound bitch.

i do mate ive put my lurcher over one but it looks an odd mix but i will be happy.i am just sussing out where to breed the next for another stud to get a straighter line

a 1/4 over half is that getting the 3/8 5/8 grey .

im am intending for a 1/4 collie i thought that my lurcher would possibly do just that

but thats me and maths here.lesser collie just to keep them right.for the get up and go.

what ive bred sounds ok but dosnt to my mind with all the percentages

this is all new to me from breeding a ped lol
