Webley & Scott

Hi does anyone have a webley & scott over & under?

what are they like and how reliable are they?

i only ask because i was looking for a shotgun today and the beretta silver pigeon and it had gone up to £1800

so i looked and they had a new webley & scott o/u 912 Sporting for £799 and i thought i was a very nice gun

but any thoughs would be good

I would say you could get the 'S' for about £1100 even if you're bad at haggling

Ah Right, whole different ball game

 

The 682 is Beretta's mid range Clay gun and thee Gold E is again more furnished than standard, so £1800 new is not too bad.

 

If you were looking for a Game gun like the Silver Pigeon, then It would be fairly easy to get for under £1200 and if you are good at haggling less than that again.

 

Back to the Original question.

Can you remember the Model for the Webley and Scott? I handled one at the CLA and it felt very good in the hand and pointed very well too. I wish I could have shot it.

i have a 1020 and have smashed a few clays with it and i know someone with a 912g and he said it is brilliant to handle
