adeyhawk1970 0
Just spent a couple of hours removing the varnish of my diana 52 stock ready for refinishing with oil.The problem im having is removing the stain that was applied to the wood before it was varnished. This isnt a factory finish but looks like a red stain that someone has applied. No matter how much i sand the wood it remains pink .Can i use wood bleach to lighten the wood and possibly remove the wood stain Edited August 18, 2008 by adeyhawk1970 Quote Link to post
Grim Reaper 1
Hi mate, Do you by any chance know what timber type the stock is? I ask because there is 1 or 2 timbers that do have a pinkish hew to them, you see. Regards, Grim. Quote Link to post
