Rats are 'neophobic' (have a fear of new objects) therefore are hard to live catch unless the trap is well established, and, the rats are hungry. In a situation like this, where you are likely to get continued re-infestation, I would recommend some well placed tunnel traps to pick them up before they get established. Or you could install some modified Pro Victors (see pinned thread above). Quote Link to post
