Now that a lot of my farmers have cut some grass, im busy on the moles again, which is nice! And although everyone is comlianing about the wet weather, it has only helped me! Im very grateful for it, as the ground is easier to trap in.

Well, was setting a barrell trap this afternoon, and as I was covering the set trap with soil, off it went!! At first I thought it had sprung on its own, as I do have my traps very tikkle! But was amazed to find a mole gasping its last!!

Also another strange thing happened in the same field... I cut a sod out, and uncovered a dead mole, fresh, but cold. It had no visible wounds, and it was positioned in a dead end, which came off the tunnel i was trapping.

Just thought I would share these results, as they are not the norm for me at all!! Cant complain though...every one is a bunus!!

Regards

That was a fast trap there mate, i cant compete with that!!!!! I think if you catch them in the right place they make a run for it when you lay the trap. Well done.

Bloody foxes! Ive lost a few to them but not too many, touch wood. It looks like its time to get the bangstick out!
