I wanted to post over here and see what you gents thought of this cross. The bitch is half AD and half bull, she has everything BUT the speed and has been worked hard with terrriers to every type of game available here in the States...a first class bitch for sure.... the male is a proven producer of Grade "A" track dogs here in the states...I'm curious to see how much speed you gents think this cross will have, where they might exceed my expectations, and where they might let me down....this will be my first "lurcher" I've been hunting terriers for several years now and am looking for something to pick up bolted fox...coon...and cut down on the abuse the terriers take through the couse of the hunting season....if it will pull a coyote now and then that would be great too. I'll be loking forward to hearing what you gents think.

I have hunted w/ a Airedale/Staghound w/ terriers and she was a good gyp and real good w/ the terriers and also has a couple of yotes under her belt.. Some of the litter is used as running catch dogs for hogs and one is working real well on Bear.. In the AD/Stag litters there was a lot of variety (size) so I think it depends on the pup as far as how fast it will be in the long run.. My friend also just picked up a 3/4 Stag X 1/4 AD and it looks like a mini dear hound, I am going hunting next week with him and look forward to seeing the new dog in action.. After terrier hunting in the morning we will call in yotes to course in the evening w/ my Whippet/Grey and his two AD/Stag lurchers...
