alot of people do tape them up i have 3 lurchers none of them been dewclawed but 1 is a pup so not been run yet only walked, havent had any problems always check them after a night out but not a problem so far have seen problems with others in the past though it would be better if they were off at a young age

ive been running lurchers 35 years and ive never removed the dew claws,as long as you clip them and dont let them grow too long you should not have much bother, greyhound men dont remove the dew claws, they say the dogs take the bends better with them on,so i always think it would help them wheel better.well thats just my opinion not wanting to start any stupid arguments.
