mancterrierman 1 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 anyone on here know of thier borders catchin rabbits on a regular basis, only my mate takes his border and bedlington out round the hills by me just moochin like and the border accounts for more rabbits than the beddie does. just wandered if this was common?wouldnt of thought they could keep up wi the old coneys. manc Quote Link to post

Guest SJM Posted July 16, 2008 Report Share Posted July 16, 2008 Mine struggle to catch them in the open allthough they try their damn hardest and they do well enough at catching rabbits in rockpiles, raking along the dykes and in cover etc. You can see here how the border is completely outclassed by the bull cross and she is not the biggest or fastest of dogs, the wee border was struggling to keep pace (you can hear him yapping ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9jzg2U0KY4 Quote Link to post
