Co2 Capsules

Recommended Posts

Hi, I have a customised XS78 and yes they can be converted to take the 88G airsource type CO2 canister. However if that is all you want to do and not bulk fill, it wouldn't be cost effective to go down the MaxZbulk adapter route. You can see the MaxZbulk on my gun below. This was made by Max Balbuena in Honolulu and enables me to use either the two 12g canisters, 88g airsource, bulk fill or use a 12oz paintball bottle as in the photo. Your best bet if you want to use 88g would be simply to sell the gun you have and replace it with a QB79, XS79 or one of the many variants like the Kasu. It would be cheaper in the long run as without an offset adapter like the MaxZbulk or the Cooper-T (now no longer trading despite the website still being inplace) there is not enough clearance to allow the fitting of the 88g bottle.

Your source for both 12g and 88g HAS to be Tyreinflators. Their stuff is every bit as good as Crosman and half the price. All you have to do now and again is put a couple of drops into the CO2 reservoir to keep the seals supple. Crosman canisters are grossly overpriced by the retailers believe me I do know that for a fact. If you do go down the XS79 route the 88g cylinders can be made rechargeable by use of a paintball preset adapter (on/off tap to you and I) which makes the XS79 an even more attractive proposition.
