Lurcher Undercoat (Smooth coat)

Anyone got any tips on a gadget or cunning technique for getting the undercoat out of a smooth coated lurcher? She keeps moulting and I just want to get it all out!

Yes, a hacksaw blade, will strip it out in no time. I try to get a long blade, fold it and tape both ends, making a "hoop", with ahandle....well, almost.....a bit of tape around the ends and bobs your uncle........JD

You can use a small, fine toothed hacksaw blade (very gently) over her coat or a rubber curry brush (like the horse ones) are also effective

This is a grooming supply site..hopefully if ive done it right the link should take you to the shedding blades section....the 'Mikki Small Swivel Shedding Blade' is really good we use it at work and i would recommend it to anyone for short haired dogs.....
