saluki x deerhound

Recommended Posts

I just wonder what it would be good for besides deer of some sort. Of course I know nothing about lamping so maybe you could lamp with it. I dont know really. Here where I live I dont think they would be good for much. Not enough speed for anything here.

should make good hare dogs but if it were saluki greyhound x deerhound greyhound , now thats a good allrounder ,, SNIPER

I agree that the better all arounder would be what you said but wouldnt the deerhoundxsaluki make them almost to big and tall for good pic ups on hare. Just learning so dont think I am gettin pissy, just wonder thats all.

more space in aus and bigger game

mate as you know the black dogs we have over here must carry some luki way back in their line, due ot the colouration and their at times manuerisms going by what I and HB have noticed and what I have read about the lukis

Mate of mine has a few dogs which the mother wassaluki/deerhound too if i rmember right from a line down south of perth.

Kalgoorlie they us saluki too(not talking about HB here either)

i guess they add some good heat tolerance, something the UK ppl wouldnt think about so much
