out for an hour with my new scope

hey all i bought a new scope a couple of wks back and iv just managed to get it on and zeroed .but not with out trouble

for some reason with the mounts it came with it wouldnt shoot no hight then 2inch below target ?

so once i got that sorted i phoned a mate to see if he fancyed a zero sesh and if the weather stays nice mybe go shooting .

 

well after all we managed to get out .once we got to our permisson we spilt up as he like to lay and wait as i like to stalk .and last nite it paid off .within the first few mins i had the first bunnies bag .on the permission there to hay sheds one in one field and the other in the nxt .so this gives us an advantage .after stalking for the nxt ten minutes i decided to lay in a corner of the fieldware i had scared off some bunnies i didnt take long for one to pop his nose out .and as i took aim and dropped him i scared another witch i didnt see at all but it stop at the hadge line for me to drop him to .on the way bck to see how my friend was doing i just had to pop my head around the hey shed just to see what was there .two more had poped out so down came another and as i whent to shoot the other my mate creeped up behind my snaping some sticks and scared it right off .

and all i got at thend was you b***%*d as he thought i had just one untill i showed him the rest .

i call this karma for saysing i look a twat in my camo.lol

 

not sure if it was me or my new scope but i took four shots and i had four kills normaly i when i shoot i take four or five shots and hit three of them so heres to more fun bunny bashing .m

 

 

 

p.s that is a rabbit stopper and before anyone says thay shouldnt be used for bunnies. is wrong as iv taken 8 rabbits down in one sesh with that thing .i now there not the best but i like them .and i now 8 isnt a lot but 8 more down is 8 more for the dog and me.

hey sean the two around the shed ware about 10 yards but the others ware 25 to 30 mark .

iv started to use jsb pellets and thay dont half make a mess on the other side.m

looks like you got the sights sorted ,and i never seen jsb pellets before,any ideas on the weight of them in 22,i will see if i can google it

hey there wife there called exact diabolo jumbo and there made buy jsb .the shop keeper told me there around the 15 grain mark.

there in a silver tin with a silver lable with red writing on them .

 

not sure how true this is but the shop keeper told me thay will increase ur rifle buy 1ftlb .but then he talks alot of shite most of the time .

 

thay are £9 for 500.

aa fields = jsb exacts = daystate select/ft = webley mosquito ( slight variations)

 

all made by jsb in the chezch republic !!!!!!!

 

 

as for incresing power ??????...........a heavy pellet will probably give a higher reading !!

 

ALWAYS get your gun chrono'd with your choice of pellet ( and stick to them) ..........best to be safe than sorry !!!!!!

yeah i whent to the other shop in lincoln and with this pellet it's pushing 11.5
