keef 0
Hi Guys, I've been searching the web for a good forum for hunting animals as its something I've become interested in. Basically I work as a Chef and I'm interested in catching my own food just to make things a little more exciting. I mean I grow my own fruit and veg so why not so that one step further and make a whole meal out of things that I have sourced and prepared myself. I was just wondering about rabbit hunting really, do I need any licences or any sort of permission and how do I find the best place to hunt? Thanks, Keith.

duck 0
Hi Matey, Do you know the best way I can start researching hunting for rabbits? first of all hello and welcome this forum is one of the best on-line you will get any questions answered here. you asked how to get started first of all i think the best way and will keep you fit is shooting and ferreting, if your looking to cook rabbit you'll probaly best with a good air rifle and work on getting good head shots using targets, then when you're good enough get some permission from local landowners, ther's a number of other ways in getting rabbits but i find shooting them best hope this helps you should get a responce off everyone soon good luck
DogPaddle 0
Howdy There's loads of information on this site. I am sure that you will meet up with someone from your country that can make things easy for you. Personally, I think if you are looking for the best taste, nothing beats shooting. A good quick kill. But snaring is by far my preference for volume, and to ensure meat on the table.
