Deker 3,491
hi lads just need a bit of info i've spoken to my mate coney who we alll know on here. my falcon raptor fn19 has been spot on lately except the other day i notice my gun was shooting to the left a bit, i tried all sorts to find the problem and coney has come to the conclusion that it's my silencer as it is loose ,so tried shooting it without it and it shoots ok my screws that fix the silencer to my gun are a bit tare and ware now so i was woundering which silencer to go for any adive welcome I've had 2 of the Falcon mods on my FN19. There is a joint just in front of the cone shaped area where the screws are, and this can easily split with any sort of knock, it's very hard to see at times as its covered with paint but if you gently try and move the mod whilst it is in the gun you can sometimes feel a tiny bit of movement...if this is the case the mod is scrap!!!! In addition, the 2 grub screws only thread into the alloy of the mod, overtightening these, especially the one at the back, can easily lead to stripping or spreading the thread and therefore cause big problems. There are several options....have a word with the guys here...... http://falconowners.myfastforum.org/ Quote Link to post
SEAN3513 7
hello duck, what i would reccomend is: fit a 1/2" unf adaptor to the end of your barrel. then you will be able to fit a LOGUN(qgs) or WEIUHRACH silcencer.....they seem to be the best available. i use a logun one and hearing is beleiving................super quiet !!! and i beleive coney is impressed with his weiurach one. the problem with the slip on ones, is, after time they can become loose as i am sure you are aware. fitting the adaptor widens your choice of quality silencers. http://www.airgunbuyer.com/Showproducts.as...s%20Accessories click above mate, it may help regards sean Quote Link to post
