Scuzy 1
Hello all, I just came back from one of my permissions earlier today and for the first time ever i shot a Hare, didnt really want to as they are beutiful animals but the landowner wants rid of them so i shot one to keep him sweet . Anyway, i dont really want to go into the details of the trip but im just asking a quck question, does anyone know a rough price on what it costs to have it mounted, a lovely animal and i dont want to waste it. I looked up a few taxidermists in my area but they are all closed today so i was wondering if anyone on here has had it done and they could give me an idea on the price. (P.S im not sure about the laws on shooting hares with an air rifle but i thought it was legal if they were a neusance?) ATB, Luke.
Guest Ditch_Shitter
Full mount? Not much change out of two ton. Then ye'll want some decent Ground work - none of this bright green, artificial shit. Then ye'll need an off the shelf glass case to keep it from ending up wrecked inside a year or two. Could get just the Mask done - but what's the point in that, really? Still wouldn't leave ye much out of a ton fifty. Plenty of Taxidermists on line. Examine the work they show and see what ye think. Some are better / specialists at one thing and not so good with others. Shop around as ye save up.
