He was only here for fifteen minutes. Looked over my newly installed cabinet, chatted over a few do`s and don`ts. I`ve now got coterminous licenses for my shotguns, a 243 and a .22.

Tomorrow i`m off to get my new HOWA Sporter 243 which is waiting for me at the gunshop.

Did you get a .243 without supervision on a first grant?

 

TBH I am surprised you got a .243 at all:laugh: Mine wont issue them first time.

Thanks SS. I got the 243 on supervision terms. Because i had been using my mates rifle before now, (remember the post about the legalities of using someone elses rifle under supervision??) my fao said he was happy for my mate to continue my supervision until he thought fit to inform my licensing bureau that i was safe to be out on my own (my FAO said i had a head start because i had already shot, prepared deer in the field, but in his words "we won`t mention that")
