pups first catch

just had to tell,my pup had his first bunny this evening,out on our regular walk only a small one but he took it all the same he has been more interested in playing up until now do you think this will switch him on,he is only 5 months and i dont want to over do it

sound that mate there shouldnt be any problems as long as u dont push him, if hes donin it off his own back theres nothing to worry about. my bitch is nearly 10 months and only caught her fist rabbit the other day but its best to take your time then he should be a good dog for a good few years. You often find a marked change in a pup after it makes its first catch ,but as yours is only 5 months it might take awhile .pleased for you ,it feels great when they nail their first one doesn't it?Don't push him ,let him take his time all the best with him.I'm in kent too ,near the QE2 Bridge .
