Air Arms question

Recommended Posts

I'm currently considering buying an underlever air rifle and am quite fond of the HW97k. However, I have read many good things about Air Arms too, although never actually handled or shot one. I have one wee question though (based on reviews I've read) - does the anti-bear trap thing (technical or what? ) make a repeated clicking noise? If it does - is it loud? How do others feel with this when hunting? i.e. does it scare everything within hearing distance?

Okay, so that's really 3/4 questions - sorry ;)

the anti bear ratchet makes a loud clicking noise untill the gun is cocked it would scare your quarry if you had to load in close proximity to your intended target imho air arms phumatics are far superior being recoiless they are deadly accurate and unbelievably quiet if they have a silencer fitted good hunting all woodga

Simple mate, you pull the underlever with your left hand, and hold the anti-bear trap "clicker" in with your right.I,ve owned the tx200hc, and it was superb, i,ve now got a pro sport, and the hype is correct, its the finest underlever in production, far superior to the wheirauch.

:good: Hello fellow been shooting the tx200 h/c now for two years super accurate once zeroed.Down side they are heavy eight and half pound if you are a weakling thats how i got mine at a good price because fellow could not handle the weight also they need a good silencer on other wise bugs bunnie will wise up quick .great first rifle to start with mate kills every thing no problem very accurate . Pcp is way to go specially multi shot more aggro with pump or bottle but as they say no recoil and light to handle.

Hope thi hel ps if you want a springer British built Airarms sound mate :good:

Cheeers [bANNED TEXT]. 16 1/2 stone, weight no problem - ordering it this week... can't bloody wait :good:
