whin 463 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Share Posted June 3, 2008 never had to feed them there catch the very opposite i have fed them game many times but not there and then as there always more to catch and thye way i look at things the dogs get the rib cage the lights i get the meaty back end if i had to feed them there catch to jee them up well cerntainly i would have failed them ive gave them fresh roe tripe livers lightts when ive been out but if your dogs have caught a [bANNED TEXT] load of game they no theyve caught it ive saw dogs in the kennel smell other dogs who havent been out and they no if they have had a roe a hare etc im the boss with my dogs so i give them what i want them to eat not rip it up in the feild for them , ive skinned fresh rabbs hares to feed them on a nite when ive camped out on the river watching nets etc but never when im coursing lamping etc for food or to sell etc, dogs do no if thye have killed there game saw mines stand over a hare roe not letting any fecher near it cause they have killed it they get there rewards later like any other jukel, roe rib cages heads knecks whatever part of the roe is not suitable for me or the butcher etc letting two or three dogs rip a carcase well no need to really , hares they get the front i get the back or if i get plent thye get it halfed by me not them ,f feching letting them rip it to bits you make me laugh i can see the piont of it but never had to go down that road , ive worked pairs at nite and didnt expect them to rip things etc Link to post
