Is that one of the Hushpower ones, mate? Quite frankly, noise isn't an issue with me here. But I could use something for close up and personal work. .410 would fit the bill alright. But it could get sticky, me wanting the option of a 12 bore too. They have me down as a Pest Controller. Not an Armourer!

 

But I reckon I might have found the pefect solution. I want a side by side 12 bore. I also have a mate who reckons he could yet get his hands on one of those old .410 Adaptors for me. Sling that into a chamber, as required, and my 12 bore can pop off a little 2" .410 shell

 

Wonder what it sounds like, coming out of a 12 bores barrel?

Far as I know 410 adapters are not that rare.Chap who used to come on fox shoots had one .The walking Guns were allowed to shoot rabbits while obviously the Standers stayed quiet for a fox.Often X would cry, "Hold the line".He'd spotted another squatter in the brambles ,range 10 feet.This was because he'd forgotten to put his 410 converter into one of his 12 bore barrels before the drive.Cue hurried unloading ,rumaging in pocket for adapter and reloading .Rabbit rewarded for its patience ...If I remember it sounded like a .410 going off I 've heard 28 bore adapters are available but they are a poor fit . S*d buying a silencer for a .410 single . Make one for pence or even nothing from houshold items
