Rolfe 2
This is a picture of what i was told was a Whites Thrush.........a migrant bird i think..........it was destined for the taxidermist along with an albino grey squirrel found in Berwick-on-Tweed........just wondered if anyone could tell me a bit more about it as i had never heard of one.........i could google it........but thought there may be someone on here who is familiar with it. Like the albino squirrel it was the result of a road traffic collision.

chess 0
Difficult to see in the piccy. Not a song thrush but looks right size for a mistle thrush. Where was it found?
Guest Ditch_Shitter
:icon_eek: F*cking Hell!!! That's a Whites alright, Rolfe! Good god, I'd have shit myself had I ever seen one of those in my Twitching days! It's one of the rarest 'Sibes'. Comes over from Siberia ~ once or twice in a bloody life time! When not picking around on the Taiga, it's supposed to be in south east Asia! Not Berwick on Tweed! I no longer have the references to look up how many have occurred in uk, but it's definately a top rated bird Shit! Did ye ever have it mounted? What's become of it? Thanks for the info it is much appreciated. Rolfe.
