rat up farm

sorry no pick i got a rat tonight .

got up my shoot late 840 looked around nothing in the barns ,farmer wants me shooting pigeons ,stop them nesting in his barn felt the tractor was warm ,thats why no pigeons they had bin in yard parking up late .. any way of i wondered had some almonds in my pocket i had bin munching on chucked a few down infront of corn silos , carried on down a track into field stalked down the edge towards 5 rabbits , when i got in range there was one ,lol any way i take aim steady my self bang of i fire a shot missed lol pulled the trigger ... i no dont pull it, squeeze the trigger , god i was mad me knees are killing now , any way of i go didnt see one after that in the field its big ..

gets back down other side of field back to farm yard and there it is a rat sat eating me almonds hes just sat there 30 -35 yards ,now light is getting dim so i adjust my scope down mag ,aim theres a few nettles in the way i try to side step aim again steady squeeze trigger bang its down . i hit a nettle but still got it straight through the body , not good shot was aiming for his head nettles . but still i got the rodent , walked towards him to get him just as i was picking him up he lept up nearly bit me draged his body under the hut . dam it lost him lol
