I've been offer a Logun Solo today with the 10 shot mag and Hawk 3 x 9 x 40 scopes for £250. The gun is as brand new, hardley used so i'm thinking of buying it and seeing which i prefer against my FN19 Raptor and i'll sell the one i'm least suited with.

Only just getting into the air gun side of things so how do you experts think the two guns compare, and is £250 a good price as this is the amount he has been offered in a trade in.

i would say its an ok deal.....................solo is sort of an entry level pcp, but that said it is extremely light and accurate.

i have one and cant fault it at all...........will drop rabbits cleanly at 45 yds!!! not that i do that on a regular basis but i have done...........30/35yds is the ideal.

the 10 shot mag can be a bit awkward ( jamming sightly)....................but if you use pellet lube on your pellets it works faultlessly.

all in all a good rifle (made by fx airguns) so good build quality.

see if you can try before you buy????............if possible, that will help you i'm sure

all the best mate

Hello mate!! I have a logun solo in .177 and I cant fault it at all. Its is well worth £250 quid brand new especially with the extras. And as you say, you can always sell the gun you least prefer.

As for the 10 shot mag I didnt get on with it but in single shot the gun is awsome and super accurate. I would try crossman accupell or Air arms feild pellets as these gave me the best results in my gun.

I would definatly give this gun a try as they are underated and more than capable.
