silencer question!!!!

i have an ultra.177 and a falcon fn19 .22 the both have silencers with a half inch unf thread.

 

so i took the parkerhale silencer off the falcon and put it on the ultra! its now much quieter however i wsnt shure if it was ok to shoot with the silencer off the .22 on the .177. is this ok??

most silencers for air guns are the same in my experience. i bought a hw100 silencer the other week in a gun shop. last one so he took it from a display model 177 and i used it on my .22 s410 with no probs at all. as long as it suits your gun keep it!!!!

The box my weihrauch silencer came in has for calibre .177, .20 and .22 wrote on it. I think most air gun silencers are suitable for all air gun calibres, but I could be wrong.
