Hello,

I'm from southern NM where are you located? I have some cross bred running dogs and I run some coyotes with them. I've read some of your posts and you say you have a 3 year old white male saluki xstagx coldblood that was bred by Dutch Salmon. I was wondering where you got him.

Thanks

Brett

hey Brett, he's the white dog you used to own, you know he can catch a jackrabbit :D I really like him, use him just on jacks, not coyote.

P.S. the black gyp in the pics is related to your app dog, i was told she was a sister or half sister out of roberts breeding? Anyways, i like the hell out of her. I went thru quite a few dogs to find one i like as well as her. give me a call, i lost your number, I'd like to talk to you. i was down in New Mexico last weekend and was trying to get ahold of you but the winds and fires came up so bad that i left a day early

I'm sure glad to hear he got a good home... I called him Papadeaux... don't ask me why

He sure can run.. and lots of distance. And real good under the lamp, I spotlighted lots of Jacks for him and he would even retrieve them somtimes. He also winded a coyote one time that was bedded down and was watching us ride by, we didn't get him killed but we would have never got to run him if Papadeaux wouldn't of winded him and jumped him up. And he would trip a coyote somtimes. I'm sure glad you like him.

That App dog sure hates coyotes... he sure helped me out when I got him and still does. I wouldn't mind having another one. If you have any info on how they are bred let me know. Looks like the one you have is the same way.

I have some 18 month old pups now out of Festus the big wolf dog I got from Daivd. The jury is still out on them. I know there is one I gave to my brother in law that has killed a couple coyotes and one by himself. I haven't been that succesfull with the ones I kept yet

Thanks,

Brett
