pistol pete 0 Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 just wondered if anyone on here had had an experience like this? i have a 2 and half yr old lurcher bitch and about a year ago i got a jack russel puppy [bitch] when the pup was big enough [14 weeks] i kenneled her outside with the lurcher, the lurcher started to let the puppy suckle and started to lactate. i took her to the vets and they said to split them up before the lurcher had a phantom pregnancy i did this but my lurcher bitch still has'nt had a season since. do you think she ever will? or am i just being inpatient? i would like to breed from her but not this year as i think she should have 3 seasons work to prove her worth. any advice is thankfully recieved yours in hunting pistol pete Quote Link to post
