had two calls to have a look at some earths the first one i netted up let my bitch enter, she was about 5 foot from where she had entered and she sounded like she was digging on. i gave her 15 mins and she had only moved a few inches so i sunk a hole down to her but the tube was just a bit bigger than a tennis ball and carried on a few feet and bent round so i pulled her out and droped her in another entrance 5mins later and a vixen bolted into the net, farmer and keeper where well happy.

Had another call from the keeper about a week later there were fresh pads and phesent carceses in the same earth so i had another look but it just diddent pan out i left collage at 4 got there for about 5ish and entred my bitch she did a bit of running about and i got a mark on her at about 4 foot broke through to her and the same again a tight hole she was mad keen to be up there so i tunneled up so i could have a look with the torch but this tube carried on for about another 4 or 5 feet and bent round the corner so called it a day. This earth has been worked about 4 times in the past couple of months but the just keep on using it. i will put some pics up when i can fix my computer at home

it will be the dog fox still dropping food off, for the now deciced vixen, i doubt very much if another vixen was using it.....

a word of advise though, if the farmer / keeper saw pad marks at enterance then he has beed far too close for the average vixens comfort.. tell them to keep WELL away until your there with your terrier to try and bolt it...
