celt 1
can anyone help me, I was looking through a kennel club registration book and noticed the prefix "Kenmillone" used on nearly every breed from labs, doberman, rotties to mastiffs and so on. Is this a cover for something like puppy farming or is it an associated register. No real reason for knowing apart from being curious. Happy new year Celt

celt 1
When the breeder doesnt have their own affix, or they cant be bothered choosing names for their pups, the Kennel Club name them. They use different names for different years for example : Kentene - Kenwunn - 81 Kentoo - 82 Kenee - 83 Kenour - 84 Kenive - -85 Kensix - 86 Keneven - 87 Kenate - 88 Kenine - 89 Kenkew - 90 Kenar - 91 Keness - 92 Kentee - 93 Kenue - 94 Kenvee - 95 Kenwu - 96 Kenex - 97 Kenyee - 98 Kenzed - 99 Kenmillen - 00 Kenmillone - 01 Kenmillto - 02 Kenmilltri - 03 Kenmilfore - 04 Kenmilquin - 05 Hope that helps Fantastic, thanks for all your help Celt

Guest Ditch_Shitter
Well That's bloody interesting, Celt! Thanks for finding it and Thanks to Locke for the original Post. (What ever Did happen to Locke? I remember him). I imagine then that they'll continue to use K prefixes for far longer than will ever get to concern any of us? 'K' for 'KC'. I wonder then if Joe's are allowed to use, eg. " KennelDog " as a Prefix? Or if they dissallow K's, so they can use them all themselves as the years roll on? Anyway, one more fasinating bit of 'Useless information' which, I suppose, goes towards making someone truly ..... well, something or other, I'm sure! Great bit of team work, none the less! Guest SJM
Ive seen a lot of staffs that have Kennel Club appointed affixes and they are no worse off for it than dogs bred by "reputable breeders". Off the top of my head take Jim Mc (HD's) dog Glory he is an excellent example of a stafford, not overdone or exaggerated in any way and he has the Kenmillto affix so dont be so quick to knock, its the dog your supposed to judge not the pedigree Hello Paddy by the way
Guest SJM
(What ever Did happen to Locke? I remember him). He was last seen on The Island chasing after a wild boar with a spear and a bit of rope

Certainly not inferior because of the ken in his ped which jim has framed and placed on his living room wall for all to see
