jakie russell 0 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 lads just started hunting with lurchers this year i have two dogs a bitch about 6 year very good (i think! i got her from a mate to help me bring along my young dog) she retrieves to hand returns every time a joy to hunt with.then i have a rip he is about 16 months old very quick but abit green he doesnt seem to be taken rabbits when he gets the chance ands as a result gets frustrated and starts yelping and driving every rabbit in a mile to ground is it normal for a young dog to yelp while chasing game and more importently will he grow out of it when his catch rate improves. cheers Jakie Quote Link to post
