I would have thought the hip thing could rear it's ugly head, as you have to be so careful that the GSD doesn't have too much work on those joints, a cross doing a job that would put so much strain on them, would be asking for trouble I should think. But I don't know, (before I get jumped on!!!) Sorry guys.....couldn't resist showing you my pride & joy! Not that i am intersted in Alsation blooded lurchers (cant really see the point).I ampretty sure that is tosh about the hips on an alsation cross, if you were to breed an alsation to a greyhound for example,you would get your hybrid vigour and idont think you would get your bad points like hips Quote Link to post
