andy s410c 63 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Share Posted April 26, 2008 After 3-4 weeks they should be starting to take a interest in solid food,normally you can seperate from 8 weeks onward.The jill will pay less attention to them as they get older anyway then the fun really begins..... Neil Cooney. 1 Posted April 26, 2008 Report Share Posted April 26, 2008 Good advice. I kept ferrets several years back and use to remove the kits at 10 to 12 weeks age. I started again 4 years ago and notice lads taking the kits away at 4 to 6 weeks of age. To young IMO. Quote Link to post
