SportingShooter 0 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Share Posted April 22, 2008 Good Stuff arcpest, it seems someone got what they wanted from them, surprised they let you have a rimfire specifically for fox (dont want to spark a debate about rimmy's not killing foxes) but Licensing depts dont normally like them. All the Best SS Hi SS When i spoke to my Firearms Officer as i am self employed pest controler he understood that .223 was to much power in certain situations and he was saying that one county cant remember which one authorises .17HMR for fox shooting so he said iof i insisted on the .22WMR he couldnt refuse it. I would prefer to use .223 but it is not always safe to do so which is why i went for the .22WMR arcpest Quote Link to post
